High-performance spiral drill with cylinder Shank
Design: HSS Co8, DIN 338, type N. Profile grinding, TiAIN coated surface, with high concentricity and graduation precision as well as HSS Co8 for extremely high thermal resistance. Point thinning with cross point according to NAS 907 P3 of the aircraft industry standards. Normal angle of rake, core thickness much thicker than normal and core gradient smaller than normal. Application: High-performance spiral drill for particularly strong and high strength alloys based on CrNi, Hastelloy ® , Inconel ® , Monel ® , Nimonic ® , rust, acid and heat-resistant steels, hard-wearing sheets and steels and bronzes up to 1400 N/mm 2 in strength. The special cross grind geometry allows very good drilling behaviour, better and cleaner hole accuracy, and excellent hole exit.
