Spiral drill with cyl. Shank, extra long

Design: DIN 1869, type TF. Sturdy special drill, profile grinding, right cutting, with precise point geometry as well as wide clamping slots with heavily rounded back edges. Point thinning according to DIN 1412, form A. Angle of rake larger than normal, core thickness considerably thicker than normal and without core gradient. Application: Versatile drill for drilling extremely deep holes up to 10 x D under difficult conditions such as poor chip removal, therefore causing deficient cooling of the drill tip. Particularly suitable for extremely deep holes in grey cast iron and steels up to 1000 N/mm 2 in strength as well as CrNi steels and INOX steels.
