Precision collet GERC-B - System ER

Design: ISO 15488-B (DIN 6499 old). These collets set a standard in terms of precision for standard collet chucks. The super finish design with a surface roughness of < 1.6 µm offers a higher load ratio, higher rigidity and clamping forces as well as higher system concentricity. They are all protected against corrosion with the new FAHRION Protect coating . • Precise – Concentricity and repetition accuracy 5 µm. • Stabile – Only 12 slots required to achieve the required clamping diameter bridging for DIN ISO 15488-B. Our collets are significantly less prone to misalign in the lower clamping area as compared with 16-fold slotted collets. • Gentle – All longitudinal edges are not only deburred but also additionally rounded which protects the inner cone on the collet chuck from any markings. This is precondition to ensuring constant high concentricity. Application: To mount tools with cylindrical shank in line with DIN 1835 B, 1835 E, 6535 B and 6535 E.

Note: Clamp diameter bridging is 1 mm (below ∅ 2.0 mm = 0.5 mm). The largest ∅ is always stated, i.e. ∅ 16 mm clamps back to ∅ 15 mm (labelling is e.g. GERC 32 F 470 E16).
