Milling Cutters
Design: Ultra-fine grit solid carbide, type N, according to company standard, 35°/38°, fire-coated, with centre cut. Cutting speed approx. 50% higher than with non-coated tools. Dry machining possible. Air cooling recommended. Application: Can be used for peripheral milling as well as for universal machining. For milling depths up to 3 x D. Can also be used for trim- ming and finishing milling. Can be used for rough grinding, slot cutting and finishing milling. The irregular spiral lead 35°/38° results in parti- cularly smooth running and thus very good surface on the workpiece. A much longer tool life is achieved than with conventional tools, as well as maximum stability during machining. In addition, feeds higher by up to 60% can be realized. Solid Carbide Vari-Helix 4 Flute End Mills
Design: Ultra-fine grit solid carbide, type N, DIN 6527, 36°/38°, TiAIN-coated, with centre cut. Cutting speed approx. 50% higher than with non-coated tools. Dry machining possible. Application: Can be used for peripheral milling as well as for universal machining. Can be used for rough grinding, slot cutting and finishing milling. The irregular spiral lead 36°/38° results in particularly smooth running and thus extremely good workpiece surface quality for finishing milling operations. In addition, feeds higher by up to 60% can be realized for slot cutting and rough milling. A much longer tool life is achieved than with conventional tools.
