According to the motto „Making the Good Even Better“ HAIMER has developed the new COOL FLASH SYSTEM for shrink-fit holders on the basis of the existing Cool-Jet. The coolant lubricant emerges through several slots, slides along the cutter and cools to the cutting edge of the tool!

The seat belt for your tools

In high-performance cutting (HPC) it can happen that the tool is pulled out of the chuck. This is due to a slow micro creep motion. It occurs during machining with high torque and high attractive forces. Even chucks with extremely high holding force cannot prevent the micro creep. In this way high quality workpieces become scrap. SAFE-LOCK ™ system offers a remedy. Driver elements in the chuck engage in grooves on tool shank. In addition to the frictional clamping forces of the shrink fit chuck, the tool is held positively. Thus, the micro- creep is effectively prevented and your tool holds.
