Precision collet GERC-HPDD Design: Precision collets GERC-HPDD similar to DIN ISO 15488-A (DIN 6499 old). The collets have an averaged system accuracy of 3 µm (with distance 3 x D max. 50 mm) in precision collet chucks. They have a seal for internal cooling (up to 120 bar) and additional spray nozzles so that additional coolant sprays, that spray up to the cut on a workpiece without a cooling channel. Shanks with lateral face can only be used in a limited way, i.e. the face must be behind the rubber plug to ensure sealing. They are particularly suitable for use in the HSC range and for high-precision machining results in the CENTRO P. The GERC-HPDDs do not have clamping diameter bridging (tolerance h8) neither in the CENTRO P nor in the standard collet chuck where, however, the blue identification ring which does not have any sealing function needs to be removed.
