Fibre grinding wheel for steel working, Cubitron™ II

982C Design: Fully resin-bonded precision grit (Cubitron™ II) on vulcanised fibre backing material, scattered evenly and semi-loose. The individual grains of the ceramic Cubitron™ II abrasives are small, precisely- shaped triangles, perpendicular in arrangement, and uniform in size. They are uniformly distributed but randomly spread, so that each triangle grain can form two chips. Tough, cool grinding with high removal rate, lasts up to 3 times longer and over 30% faster removal. Application: In all metal-working industries, where high removal rates combined with very good surface finishes need to be achieved. Ideal for surface grinding, cast iron work, flame-torch work on engineering steel and non-ferrous metals. The individual grains of the ceramic Cubitron™ II abrasives are small, precisely- shaped triangles, perpendicular in arrangement, and uniform in size. They are uniformly distributed but randomly spread, so that each triangle grain can form two chips. Tough grinding with highest removal rate, lasts up to 3 times longer and 40% faster removal. Grinding-activated coating prevents clogging and makes for cooler grinding. Application: In all metal-processing industries, where high removal rates combined with very good surface finishes need to be achieved. For use with backing bad on all angle grinders. Ideal for surface grinding, pre- and post-welding work on stainless steel, aluminium, titanium and nickel alloys. Note: For backing discs with grain sizes 36+ see (Order No. 8239),
