Compact clamp

Design: BAS compact clamps are distinguished by their high clamping force and extremely compact design, measuring 95 x 35 x 78 mm. This results in 30 % less area and 50 % less space required with a clamping force up to 16000 N. The shell and pressure arms are made from tempered stainless steel (42 CrMo4) and as such are highly stressable and very long-lasting. The worn gear ensures high clamping force. A special elastomer seal around the clamping arm protects the interior from fouling. The pressure pads are made of aluminium and provide optimal pressure distribution and smooth clamping. Handle recesses on both sides ensure optimal hold in any positioning. Application: For quick and secure clamping of workpieces on tool machines, measuring tables and jig manufacturing. Ideal for assembly, when drilling, reaming, milling, grinding, honing, eroding, inspecting etc. Note: To bridge large clamp heights we recommend the BASO clamping base (Order No. 3952), for quick and secure clamping the BASKN T-bar spanner (Order No. 3953).
