General information ESD When using tools on parts that are endangered by electrostatic discharge (ESD – electro static discharge), the relevant standards

and regulations (e.g. IEC TR 61340-5, DIN EN 61340-5, SP Method 2472) demand a controlled discharge of electrical loading for the handles of the tools in question.

ESD electronic side-cutting pliers

Design: DIN ISO 9654. Made of special grade, special tool steel, hardened and tempered in oil, slim design. Mirror-polished head, with non-detachable and frictionless double spring for even opening. Precision blades additionally inductively hardened (HRC 62). Handles with plastic covers. Application: For the finest cutting work at hard-to-access places in electrics, especially where ESD tools are in use.
