Wire rope shears

Design: Made of chromium-vanadium high-performance steel, hardened and tempered in oil. Polished head. Precise, easy-action screw joint with internal opening spring and safety catch. With two extrusions for end caps on Bowden sleeves and end sleeves for control cables. The special blade shape prevents the wire rope from splaying. Handles covered with non-slip plastic. Application: Suitable for single- and multi-wire copper and aluminium cables, wire rope, medium-hard wire and piano wire.

Wire rope and cable cutters

Design: Blade head made of special grade tool steel (interchangeable), hardened and tempered in oil. Polished head. Arms made of high-strength aluminium and optimum lever transmission, angular cutting blades allow cutting through single wire ropes. Plastic-covered handles.

Application: For copper and aluminium cables, wire cables and round steel, suitable also for cutting overhead cables with integral straining wires.

Bowden wire cutters

Design: Made of special grade, special tool steel; hardened in oil, black atramentised. Polished head. Blades additionally inductive-hardened, cuts smoothly and cleanly and without squashing. With spring clip and safety catch The special blade shape prevents the wire rope from splaying, little effort required due to very high transmission ratio. Plastic-covered handles. Application: For Bowden cables and soft wire ropes (also stainless steel).

Stripping tool

Design: Body of tool made of fibreglass-reinforced plastic with soft inlays for secure grip, with opening spring and safety catch. Conical ends for work in confined spaces. Application: For the stripping of all conventional round and wet-room cables (e.g. NYM 3 x 1.5 mm 2 to 5 x 2.5 mm 2 ), data cables (CAT 5–7, twisted pair) and coaxial cables.
