Design: DIN 6331. Height 1.5 d. One end with collar, therefore use of washers is not required, size of bore or mounting slots permitting. Material: Tempered steel to tensile strength class 10. Advantages: Long screw threads and clamping spindles can be effortlessly bridged. Easy assembly or disassembly in narrow or blind spots. No searching of the thread. Sizing on the thread caused by external influences is avoided. No adverse effects from fouling such as paint residues or rust.

Extension nut

Design: Height 3 d. Both ends are flat. Cannot be screwed through, the thread engagement length should be min. 1 x d. However, we recommend half height of nut (1.5 x d) for optimum strength. Material: Tempered steel to tensile strength class 10. Application: As connection for two stud screws (Order No. 3901 Ç 3/138) or to connect stud screws with T-slot screws (Order No. 3900 Ç 3/136).
