Tapping device

Design: With adjustable friction clutch and quick reverse. Length compensation compensates for the difference between machine advance and thread pitch. The integrated adjustable thrust ensures immediate thread cutting. You save time during the reversing action because the tap returns faster (1.75:1). Suitable for drives with clockwise rotation . The shanks (Morse tapers, cylindrical shanks or steep tapers) are interchangeable and allow insertion and screwing in respectively. The driving square for the tap is adjustable. Application: For thread cutting on all hand-fed bench drills and box column drills and where the rotational direction cannot be reversed. Scope of delivery: Thread cutting device with retaining bracket, 2 chuck keys and Allen key. Note: The precision collet Ç 3/113 and plug-in cone need to be ordered separately. Thread cutting devices for left-hand threads upon request.

Tapping chuck with cylindrical shank

Design: Length compensation on tension and compression, compensating for the difference between machine advance and thread pitch. The integrated adjustable thrust ensures immediate thread cutting. The driving square for the tap is adjustable, with modular steep taper fixture for fitting and cylindrical shank with surface to DIN 1835 B and E. Various steep tapers can be modularly fitted. Application: Ideal for use in CNC machining centres or feed units with reversing of rotation. Note: Please order multi-range collet Ç 3/113 separately.
