Choice of the right reaction arm: Z-form Offset form for support on adjacent screws, walls, machine parts or other stable abutments. Ideal where space is limited. L-Form Straight shape with adjustable reaction arm. Ideal for screw joints, provides a larger radius for the support than the Z-form. Can also be supported at points that are higher than the screw plane, but this reduces the maximum permissible torque by 20 %.

Design: Housing made of high-performance aluminium, reaction arm forged from chrome-vanadi- um steel for safe interception of the counter forces. High precision, single-stage planetary gearbox for high durability and exact torque transfer. The guaranteed accuracy is better than ± 3 % tole- rance. Square drive with bore for receiving power wrench inserts with locking pin and rubber ring. Application: For controlled tightening of screws and loosening fittings with a torque wrench. Ideal for bridge, ship, aircraft, railway as well as machine and plant engineering in industry, refineries, commercial vehicles, automotive engineering and construction sites. Overload protection by means of sun gear. If the drive is overloaded by excessive forces, the sun gear is damaged and not the entire motor. After replacing the sun gear, the torque multiplier is ready for use again.

Overload protection by means of shearing square. If the motor is overloaded by excessive forces, the output square turns off. The motor won't be damaged. After replacing the output square drive, the torque multiplier is ready for use again.
