Solid Carbide Multi-Flute Carbide End Mill for Hard Machining

Design: Ultra-fine grit solid carbide, type H, according to company standard, 45°, TiAIN-coated, with centre cut. Cutting speed approx. 50 % higher than with non-coated tools. Dry machining possible. Application: Can be used for peripheral milling, trimming and high- precision finishing. The 45° spiral results in a soft and peeling cut and thus a high surface quality. Burr formation on the cutting edges is avoided. Suitable for HSC machining up to 62 HRC.

Solid Carbide Multi-Flute Vari-Helix End Mill Design: Ultra-fine grit solid carbide, type NH, DIN 6527 L, 44°/45°/46°, fire-coated, with centre cut. Cutting speed approx. 50 % higher than with non-coated tools. Dry machining possible. Application: Can be used for peripheral milling as well as for universal machining. Can also be used for trimming and finishing milling. Can be used for rough grinding, slot cutting and finishing milling. The irregular spiral lead 44°/45°/46° results in particularly smooth running and thus very good surface on the workpiece. A much longer tool life is achieved than with conventional tools.
