Solid Carbide 2 Flute Necked & Tapered Ball Nose Slot Drills
Design: Ultra-fine grit solid carbide, type N, according to company standard, 30°, Signum-coated, with centre cut. Cutting speed approx. 50 % higher than with non-coated tools. Dry machining possible. These tools should only be used in shrink or hydro-.expansion chucks. Application: Can be used for copy milling. The neck chip channel makes optimum tool range possible and thus makes it suitable for mould-making applications. Suitable for machining hardened mate- rials up to 54 HRC . Note: Copy milling; cutting values preferred at ap = 0.05 x d 1 and ae = 0.1 x d 1 .
