Solid Carbide 2 Flute Torus Cutter with Corner Radius for Hard Machining
Design: Solid carbide NANO, type H, according to company standard, 30°, TiAlN-S-coated, with centre cut. Cutting speed approx. 50% higher than with non-coated tools. Dry machining possible. Application: The tapered neck makes it suitable for copy milling and slot cutting especially in deep areas. With corner radius to avoid notching effects on the workpiece – less corner wear during plunge cutting and slot cutting. Recommended for HSC machining up to 56 HRC .

Solid Carbide 2 Flute Torus Cutter with Corner Radius for Hard Machining
Design: Solid carbide (K05/10), type N, according to company standard, 30°, Signum-coated, with tapered neck – see dimension l 3 /l 4 (clear area) and centre cut. Cutting speed approx. 50% higher than with non-coated tools. Dry machining possible. These tools should only be used in shrink or hydro-.expansion chucks. Application: Can be used for copy milling, traverse and slot cutting. (Not with pivoted milling spindle.) The tool life increases with MQL or air cooling. The tool can either be used with a pivoted or straight spindle. Recommended for HSC machining up to 56 HRC . Note: Copy milling; cutting values preferred at ap = 0.1 x d 1 and ae = 0.5 x d 1 .
