Revolving lathe centre with small housing diameter

Design: Body and tip drop forged, hardened and ground. Moving tip is regrindable for several times and shank-mounted, with tip angle 60°. The precision bearing is protected from dirt and coolant by the special lip seal. The shank is ground, with hole for easy dismantling. The small housing diameter avoids obstructions for slide rests, tool posts and turning tools. The radial load carrying capacity is regarded as equal to the other constructions. The axial load carrying capacity is less due to its constructional characteristics. Application: For all turning operations, especially machining workpieces needing a small head diameter size.
