Vertical linear measuring device

Equipped with a patented opto-electronic measuring system based on an incrementally divided glass scale, the TESA-HITE 400 and 700 are characterized by accuracy, reliability and robustness. Ideal measuring aids for the workshop area.

The battery-powered TESA-HITE 400 and 700 are suitable for measuring heights and graduations, diameters, hole distances and groove widths.

Design: Large range of applications, two device sizes with 415 and 715 mm or 16 inch and 28 inch measuring span. Electronics protected against solid and liquid contamination such as dust, metal particles, splashing water or oil (device IP 40, electronics IP 65). Control panel with numeri- cal increments 0.0001/0.001/0.01 mm or 0.00001/0.0001/0.001 inch. Accuracy with standard accessories (2.5 + 4*L) µm (L in m). Patented opto-electronic TESA measuring system. Consistently high accuracy through long-term stability of glass scale. Large digit display and symbols for measurement functions. Can be switched between metric and inch measurement systems. RS 232 interface. Function: Slight offset of the measuring device on the test plate due to integrated air bearing. Dynamic workpiece detection with consistently even measuring force. High reliability, simple measurement of holes and shafts due to the unique, TESA-patented system for automatic search for the culmination point. Confirmation of completed measurement value acceptances through acoustic signal, programmable. Recording of par- allelism deviations. Measurement of perpendicularity deviations using a digital measurement value adapter with information on the angle of the best-fit straight lines. Zero setting of the display to any point within the measurement range. Preset function for entry of the required values. Supplied: Standard measuring insert carrier, standard measuring insert with test rod and measuring ball ∅ 5 mm made of carbide. One reference piece for determining the measuring probe constant (nominal value 6.350 mm/0.250 inch). One electric pump for air bearing of the device base on the test plate, mounted, one rechargeable battery pack 6 V, one mains adapter 100 ÷ 240 Vac/50 ÷ 60 Hz, one EU mains cable and one US mains cable for the mains adapter, in transport packaging.
