Solid device base, chemically nickel-plated with 3 lapped support fields. Roller bearing- guided measuring head, electric motor-powered movements with selectable speeds from 7.5 to 40 mm/s. RS 232 interface. Function: Slight offset of the measuring device on the test plate due to integrated air bearing. Dynamic workpiece detection with con- sistently even measuring force. For length measurements in the form of outside, inside, height, depth and distance measurements on geometric elements with flat, plane parallel and circular cylindrical surfaces in one or two coordinate directions. Hole positions can be determined in two coordinate directions and issued in the Cartesian or polar coordinate systems. Supplied: Height gauge with a standard measuring insert carrier, a standard measuring insert with test rod and carbide measuring ball ∅ 5 mm, one reference piece for determination of the measuring probe constant (nominal value 6.350 mm/0.2500 inch).
