Adapter plate

Design: Adapter plate in aluminium. Application: The sealing cord is inserted into the raster of the rubber adapter mat. Go up to the end of the area to be machined in the workpiece. Next, the adapter plate is screwed down to the vacuum clamping plate. The workpiece to be machined is placed on it and fixed using the adjustable eccentric stops. Advantages: • The adapter plate can be overcut by up to 2 mm (elimination of cuts) • Preferred fields of application are processing thin sheet metal, foils, PC boards and even paper

3 Clamping

Surface-mounted block

Design: The surface-mounted block has grooves and a suction point on its upper side. The field size is individually defined by inserting the sealing cord. The surface-mounted block is placed directly over a suction point on the vacuum clamping plate. The underside has a sealing cord of 2.0 mm dia. Application: Deployment of surface-mounted blocks allows openings for machining. Workpieces can be drilled through without the vacuum clamping plate or the component itself being damaged. Note: Please order 4.0 mm dia. sealing cord separately.

Adapter mat

Design: Adapter mat, rubber. Application: Suitable for surface-mounted block (Order no. 3967 0055). Advantages: • The good coefficient of friction offers especially good resistance against the displacement forces that arise during machining • The adapter mat can be cut into up to 2 mm deep without problem • If the same contours are used, the adapter mat can be reused almost endlessly, as it is not subject to wear
